An attestation parade of Recruit Course No 63 comprising 119 recruits was organised recently. Maj Gen Purshottam Vig, MGIC Adm Western Command was the chief guest and the reviewing officer. The recruits put up a splendid show in all facets of the event. Parents and guardians of some of the recruits had arrived from remote corner of Nepal to witness their sons/wards getting attested in the finest regiment of Indian Army. The coveted 'Silver Khukri' was awarded to Recruit Vir Bahadur Thapa for all round best performance. The Recruit also commanded the parade. The parade ended with the recruits marching to Auld lange sane and drawing cheers from all present in the viewers gallery.
