Yugveena
Library in Bareilly Cantonment

A
state-of-the-art library, christened Yugveena was inaugurated in Bareilly
Army Cantonment. While Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr
Ram Naik inaugurated the library, Minister of State for Defence, Mr Chaman
Lal Gupta and Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr Santosh
Gangwar were also present on the occasion.
The
library is second of its kind in India. It is sponsored by Gas Authority
of India Ltd (GAIL) and other petroleum agencies. Mrs Veena Maitra,
Director General (Defence Estates) and Mr Prashant Banerjee, Chairman,
GAIL also took part in the inaugural ceremony. The library is open to
civilians also.
