Lt Gen GS Sihota, GOC-in-C, Southern Command visited Artillery Centre, Nasik Road Camp. He was received by Brig SVP Singh, Commandant. The Commandant introduced the Commanding Officers and Principal Staff Officers to the GOC-in-C and briefed him in detail on the training, accommodation, works and various projects undertaken for the welfare of the troops and their families.

The Army Commander visited unit lines, newly renovated dining halls and cook houses. He also appreciated the facilities being provided to all ranks and their families and the work undertaken for the overall development and facelift of the centre under the stewardship of Brig SVP Singh.

Mrs Shivjot Sihota who accompanied the GOC-in-C was received by Mrs Bhupinder Kaur at Family Welfare Centre. She was briefed on various projects being undertaken for the welfare of the families at the centre. Mrs Sihota complimented Mrs Bhupinder Kaur and all ladies at the centre for their good work.
