Dignitaries Visits Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre

 
 

Mr Julius L Sunkuli, Defence Minister of Kenya visited the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre during his visit to India. The Minister was accompanied by a delegation which included Mr Francis Sunkuli, father of the Minister, Mr Wilson Ole Tito, PA to Minister, Mr LO Amayo, High Commissioner, Col DK Rutto, Defence Adviser, Mr SR Ahmed, Under Secretary (Protocol) and Mr RS Dabas, Assistant Protocol Officer.

The delegation was welcomed by Brig KS Dalal, Commandant, Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre and was briefed on the training activities carried out at the Centre. During its visit, the delegation appreciated the innovations being used at the Integrated Indoor Training Complex for the training of recruits. The delegation also visited company lines and gymnasium.

Lt Gen Raj Kadyan, Deputy Chief of Army Staff and Colonel of the Regiment, hosted lunch for the delegation at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre Officers' Mess. The delegation was presented a memento and a coffee table-book on the occasion.

Maj Gen Yiftach Ron Tal, Chief of Israel Ground Forces also visited the Regimental Centre. The Chief was accompanied by a delegation which included Brig Gen Avraham Ben David, Lt Col (Mrs) Raban Shoshana, Lt Col Doron Mor Yosef, Col Eli Alfasi and Maj (Retd) Eyal Kinreich.
